Join The Body of Christ

Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ wants us unified and working together to fulfill our Father in Heaven's will.

I want to be clear that joining a church membership or denomination isn't the same as joining the body of Christ.

To be apart or a member of the the body of Christ, you must be born again.  You have to according to Romans 10:9-10 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, then you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Once you have received the gift of salvation, you are righteous because of Jesus righteousness which means you are in right standing with God. The blood that was shed at Calvary from Jesus has washed away all of your sins.  You have become a new born in Christ (Born Again).  You have a new life a clean slate and all of heaven is rejoicing due to your repentance.

Ephesians 4: 11-13

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some pastors and teachers;  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.  Until we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.

Where Do I Fit In the Body of Christ?

Jesus made it very clear that the church is the body of Christ and that we are many members in the body performing different functions within the body to fulfill our purpose in the earth.

Support Staff

Being part of the support staff is very important and sometimes it's the support staff that may go un-notice by some, but it's always recognized by God of who you are and what is often done behind the scenes.

Full-time Positions

Being full-time in the ministry is an opportunity to do what many would love to do and it's a great time to be use by God to do more.

Children's Ministry

This ministry is just as important as others.  Jesus made this clear when the disciples tried to keep them from reaching Jesus as if they weren't as important as adults.

Matthew 19:13-15

Then were they brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray:  and the disciples rebuked them.  But Jesus said, Suffer little children and forbid them not, to come unto me:  for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Music Ministry

II Chronicles 5:12-14

Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets.

It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever:  that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.
